Craig Power has been engaged by several Law firms and clients to conduct detailed incident investigations and provide WHS Expert Opinion Reports for WHS legal matters and presentation in court.
One investigation into three related electrical shock incidents resulted in a contactor withdrawing an extension of time claim in excess of $500,000.
Another investigation determined that evidence had been altered, in order for the main contractor to avoid admitting responsibility for a major injury suffered by a small subcontractor.
Investigations are conducted from the ground-up using “Sequence of events” and “5 whys analysis” as the basis of investigations. Technical experts are brought into the team as required where plant and equipment (FMEA, LOPA) or human factors expertise is required.
Craig has appeared in the WA Supreme Court and WA Fair Work Commission, providing an expert opinion in both instances.
He has also provided NCC Performance Solution reports to Phronius Pty Ltd for industrial access stairs and walkways
