Look before you leap – Tourists Jumping off a Cliff

Jumping off a cliff

I took this digital photograph which shows two tourists jumping of the edge of a cliff  and into the water below.

At the time I was the safety advisor at the West Angelas project working for the main structural/mechanical package contractor.

My construction team had travelled by bus to the area on our  “Leisure Day off”  which occurred every second Sunday.

The location was Dales Gorge in the Karajini National park in Western Australia.  A very special and spectacular place.

My  “Tongue in Cheek” comment – “Did they do a risk assessment prior to jumping off the cliff and plunging into the unknown below.”

The tourists had a safe and wet landing.

My team had a great day letting off steam and enjoying a sense of normality and community.
